Business Development


Job Description: Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close with assigned accounts. Locates and attends various business networking sessions and trade shows in addition to developing a referral network. Develops and implements plan which will meet business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. Responsible for referrals, retention, revenue generation, and long-term goals in line with company vision. Researches various published and internet sources to create list of prospects to contact for marketing purposes. Develops and maintains relationships with community directors, vendors, new existing customers and provides information to maximize sales volume. Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures for marketing to senior communities, senior citizens, other marketers in addition to regulations related to the moving and trucking industry. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Creativity and latitude is expected. Requires experience in sales and thorough knowledge of organization structure and services. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and ability to work independently. Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years direct selling experience desired
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license and telephone
  • Must submit to and pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Must have good analytical skills and the ability to maintain composure under difficult situations

Experience:
Should possess previous sales, business development, customer service and/or relationship management experience. Working knowledge or desire to learn the senior service, moving and/or trucking industry. Two years of face-to-face experience working with the public, seniors, or the disabled in a service capacity. Two years of demonstrated leadership experience. Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
 


Home Packer

Job Description:
The primary role of this position is to prepare the client home for damage free transport to a new residence. Arranges/packs household items into crates, boxes, and cartons.  Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Position will work in a team environment and at the direction of Project Coordinator/Supervisor. The primary responsibilities include:
  • Packing and unpacking of household belongings including collections, antiques, fragile and heirloom items.
  • Setup/assembly of client kitchen, bedroom, and bath. Assembly of client purchased items.
  • Making client beds, hanging pictures and drapes.
  • Home organization, room design, clearing, and sorting.
     
Position is to deliver consistent courteous, professional service, with damage free results. Must maintain positive interactions with customers and peers. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation .
  • Valid drivers license and telephone.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
  • Must submit to and pass a criminal background check, drug test, and behavior test.
  • Must have good analytical skills and the ability to maintain composure under difficult situations.
     
Experience: Two years prior home packing experience with a moving or similar company required. Has general knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. One year experience working with senior citizens, the disabled, or the public.
 
Hours: Monday- Saturday, Flexible hours. Temporary to Part-Time

Experience: Two years of direct experience working with the public, seniors, or the disabled in a service capacity. Prior truck loading and/or moving experience required.
Has general knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures.

Hours: Monday-Saturday, Flexible hours. Temporary to Part-Time.
